Today we said goodbye to my mom’s dog, Sophie. My oldest daughter was just a few months old when my mom chose Sophie, and P found a friend who was just as interested in eating her hand as she was. Today has been a very hard day for us. Lily has been sick for a while now and we have tried doing everything we could to help her. She passed away this morning on the way to the veterinarian.
